AKM Motorsport lines up with a three-car effort this weekend (18–20 July) for the first of three rounds in the E4 Championship series, which gets underway at the Paul Ricard circuit.

Marco Antonelli’s team returns to the grid of the continental championship for Tatuus Formula 4 single-seaters, fielding a car for the already announced Evan Michelini (17 years old, born in Genoa but raised in Costa Rica), who makes his debut in the category after an intensive testing program.

Also making their debut are young Saudi driver Abdullah Kamel and Italy’s Ginevra Panzeri. Kamel is a two-time national karting champion in his home country and also a Saudi Games winner.

In his rookie season in Formula 4, he is backed by Al Rabie, a brand owned by a major Riyadh-based company operating in the food sector.

Ginevra, who turned 16 last October, already has experience in the Winter Series, where she climbed the podium in last year’s Barcelona round.

At the French circuit, all three drivers will aim to put to good use the mileage covered in various winter testing sessions, while AKM Motorsport kicks off its sixth season in Formula 4, having joined the series in 2020.

The Paul Ricard round, which will be followed by those at Mugello (12–14 September) and Monza (24–26 October), will get into full swing on Friday with two free practice sessions, each lasting 40 minutes.
On Saturday, starting at 10:45, there will be two 15-minute qualifying sessions, ahead of the first of three 30-minute plus one lap races, which will get underway at 16:30. Race 2 will start on Sunday at 11:00, with Race 3 at 17:25.
All three races will be broadcast live on ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228) and streamed live on the championship’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
