A total of 33 drivers from all over the world are ready to fight for the E4 Championship crown. The third edition of the series promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion concludes at the symbolic venue of Italian motorsport: the circuit that every year hosts the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.

The title fight is as open as ever. After securing the Italian F4 title in Misano, Kean Nakamura-Berta of Prema Racing arrives as the championship leader, determined to double up with a second title this season. Chasing him is Brazilian Gabriel Gomez, representing US Racing, just 10 points behind, reigniting in the E4 the same fierce battle that marked the Italian F4 season.

In third place, the Mercedes junior from R-ace GP has fully re-entered the title contention thanks to an outstanding second round at Mugello, where a win and two podium finishes put him back among the frontrunners. Also among the contenders for the grand finale is Dutchman Reno Francot of PHM Racing. The driver from Echt-Susteren has made the most of the experience gained last year, approaching the E4 Championship with great readiness. A win and two podiums mark his best results so far, placing him fourth in the standings, 33 points behind the leader.

Just two points further back sits Anglo-American Sebastian Wheldon, also with Prema Racing. In sixth place overall, right behind the Andretti Global junior driver, is Salim Hanna. Though more distant in terms of points, the Colombian driver for Prema Racing is still mathematically in contention for the overall title. Hanna, who claimed the rookie trophy in this year’s Italian F4 season, finds himself now chasing his teammate Oleksandr Bondarev.

The Ukrainian rising star, representing Prema Racing and the Williams Driver Academy, currently leads the Rookie standings. The math still keeps Van Amersfoort Racing drivers Aleksandr Ruta and Dante Vinci in play, along with Zhenrui Chi of Prema Racing.

In the Female Trophy, the standings are led by Ginevra Panzeri of AKM Motorsport, rewarded for her remarkable consistency throughout the season. The Italian driver leads the classification ahead of Emily Cotty of R-ace GP (already crowned champion in the Italian F4 series), Payton Westcott of Van Amersfoort Racing, and Mathilda Paatz of Mathilda Racing by AS Motorsport.

The weekend schedule

The weekend opens on Friday, October 24, with free practice sessions in the morning from 8:30 to 9:10 AM and again from 11:15 to 11:55 AM. In the afternoon, the drivers will return to the track for qualifying, which will decide the starting grids for the three races: Q1 from 4:35 to 4:50 PM and Q2 from 5:00 to 5:15 PM, after a brief pitlane break.

On Saturday, October 25, Race 1 will take place at 11:50 AM, followed by Race 2 on Sunday, October 26 at 9:30 AM, and the grand season finale at 3:50 PM.
