The first session had opened the morning of the ACI Racing Weekend with cold and damp track conditions, where Kabir Anurag had set the fastest time. In Free Practice 2, held in significantly better conditions with the asphalt around 18°C (compared to 5°C in the morning), it was Kean Nakamura-Berta who emerged on top. The Japanese-Slovak driver of Prema Racing, current championship leader, recorded the best lap of the day in 1'51.425.
Maximilian Popov of Van Amersfoort Racing was second, 0.682 off the pace, followed by Kabir Anurag, Alpine Academy driver with US Racing, third at 0.746. Reno Francot of PHM Racing set the fourth-best time at 0.793, ahead of the Colombian Salim Hanna of Prema Racing, fifth at 0.818.

Sixth place went to Sebastian Wheldon, another representative of Prema Racing, 0.870 behind. Andrija Kostic of US Racing set the seventh-fastest lap at 0.894, while Oleksandr Bondarev, Williams Driver Academy member with Prema Racing, finished eighth at 0.950, the last driver within one second of the leader.
Completing the top ten were Dante Vinci of Van Amersfoort Racing at 1.046, and Alex Powell, Mercedes junior with R-ace GP, tenth at 1.185.
The day will now conclude with qualifying, which will determine the starting grids for the weekend: Qualifying 1 from 4:35 to 4:50 p.m., followed by Qualifying 2 from 5:00 to 5:15 p.m.
The schedule will continue on Saturday, October 25, with Race 1 at 11:50 a.m., while on Sunday, October 26, Race 2 will take place at 9:30 a.m. and the grand season finale at 3:50 p.m.
All races will last 30 minutes plus one lap and will be broadcast live in Italian on ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228 and streaming on live.acisport.tv).
